Gold plating

The gold plating is a process of electrodeposition of gold metal, obtained by weakly acidic and alkaline aqueous solutions with specific additives, used for technical and decorative purposes in different applications.

Technical purposes: the gold plating is used as an anticorrosion coating and for its weldability properties, for its electrical and thermal conductivity.

Decorative purposes: the gold plating is used to obtain objects with excellent aesthetic and decorative properties getting bright, matt, satin and antiqued finishings.

Yellow appearance with several shades, like pale pink, green, brown, depending on the amount and kind of alloying metal used, with glossy, semi-glossy, matt, satinized and antiqued finishings.
