Dehydrogenation

The dehydrogenation is a thermal treatment which consists in removing the hydrogen absorbed by an object during an electrochemical and chemical process, performed in a specific oven at a temperature of 180 – 200 ° C for a minimum time of 2 hours.

This operation is fundamental for steel items which need of a tensile strength greater than 100/Nmm, in order to avoid breakage of the part.
