The lubrication is a process that consists in applying by immersion a liquid substance, which interposed between two surfaces reduces friction and wear.
The operation is basically used to adjust the coefficient of friction of parts used for clamping systems (bolts, nuts, screws, etc…). The value ranges, from 0.08 to 0.18, depending on the type of lubricant used.
