Research, innovation and attention to quality and the environment are part of the DNA of Silga that in terms of sustainability presents its new exclusive decorative galvanic finishing, which is the selenium-free bronzing, 100% Made in Silga.
Following the stricter guidelines connected to the concentration of selenium in waste water, Silga has gone far beyond by completely eliminating the presence of it in the productive process. In fact, Silga has developed its own formula, safe and sustainable because totally free of selenium, to obtain an antique decorative effect on objects characterized by previous brass and nickel free plating.
Thanks to its know-how and the continuous research of new solutions by the Technological Studies Center (CST) present in Silga, it was possible to start the use of this new finishing, realized through in barrel systems. A result that proves Silga’s commitment to a safer and more sustainable environment.
