GALVANIZING PROCESS
Electrolytic process used to protect the base material from oxidation, hexavalent chromium free, process compliant with Rohs (2002/95/EC), ELV (2000/53/EC), 2003/36/EC and 2000/53/EC
MAIN FEATURES OF GALVANIZING ON RACK:
- Process applicable on zamak, steel, copper and its alloys;
- ALKALIN process;
- Semi-glossy finishing with good distribution of the thickness;
- Good resistance against corrosion;
- Surface hardness 80 HV;
- Process applicable on special materials (Avp, Avz, Cast Iron, heat treated steels)
- White (Clear), Black and Iridescent White (Yellow) finishings are attainable by passivations based on trivalent chromium (Cr+3);
- It is possible to apply Sealants (selear), Lubricants (Torque’n Tension) and Top-Coat to increase corrosion resistance, adjust the coefficient of friction (Cof) and improve the appearance of the deposit;
MAIN FEATURES OF GALVANIZING IN BARREL:
- Process applicable on zamak, steel, copper and its alloys;
- ACID process;
- Glossy finishing with a decent distribution of the thickness, it has considered the high thickness peak effect on long items (eg. On extremities we can have a thickness double than on the centre);
- Good resistance against corrosion;
- Surface hardness 80 HV;
- Process applicable on special materials (Avp, Avz, Cast Iron, heat treated steels)
- White (Clear), Special Black and Iridescent White (Yellow) finishings are attainable by passivations based on trivalent chromium (Cr+3);
- It is possible to apply Sealants (selear), Lubricants (Torque’n Tension) and Top-Coat to increase corrosion resistance, adjust the coefficient of friction (Cof) and improve the appearance of the deposit;
- CORROSION RESISTANCE
