In order to provide an increasingly complete and quality surface treatment, Silga has developed new processes of varnish and final protection to be applied on galvanic coatings in order to improve its performance in terms of resistance to corrosion and oxidation, as well as to ensure excellent aesthetic quality to the final products. These include frame varnish systems such as cataphoresis and transparent and metallic/coloured electrostatic varnish.

Cataphoresis: cataphoresis is an electrolytic surface treatment that allows uniform high-performance deposition with thicknesses ranging from a minimum of 6 µ to 12 µ massive of an acrylic-resinurethane on a surface previously treated to ensure a high protection from chemicals and give a transparent shiny appearance, with the additional possibility of adding colors such as for example several variants of bronze or black.
Transparent electrostatic varnish: this type of treatment is carried out through two-component polyacrylic paints, which allow excellent results in terms of chemical and mechanical resistance (resistance to scratches and abrasions, solvents, atmospheric agents, alkalis and acids, corrosion) and that offer a more or less glossy finish, depending on your needs. In addition, the electrostatic varnish process guarantees an optimal wrapping of the object, for a high aesthetic and functional quality.
Metallic/coloured varnish: Silga offers finishes that can be made in solid RAL colours, metallic and with a glossy and semi-glossy appearance.
