It is now available in SILGA the new finishing LIGHT GOLD. It’s a new electrolytic process, performed on pieces attached on the racks, ables to make coatings of pale gold with brigth and glossy effect. The finishing can be applied on zamak, brass, iron and stainless steel, using an intermediate substrate in nickel, pearl nickel or white bronze to obtain a finishing nickel free and compliants with the in force regulations. The biggest convenience resulting from the use of the LIGHT GOLD finishing is the opportunity to make coatings with higher thickness avoiding that the colour changes toward a more saturated tone, the usual criticality in a classic gold plating treatment, and obtaining a finishing with a steady colour in the course of time and a quality level higher then the classic gold plating treatments, in terms of aesthetics and resistance.
