An additional production line is operative in SILGA for treatment of nickel-plating in barrel. This is an automatic multi-program line equipped with numerous tanks and positions, which allow to create different coatings with different thicknesses of copper and nickel, also high thicknesses, included a protective treatment of oiling performed directly in line .
Thanks to its structure, this type of system can meet the most varied requirements and demanding technical specifications required from different sectors, such as furniture fittings, articles for the automotive industry, hydraulics and pneumatics, bolts and fasteners, mechanics and all those articles which need of finishings with a nickel substrate .
With the addition of this new line SILGA has increased its total production capacity of further 1,200 tons per year, for treatments of nickel-plating in barrel on steel, brass and zamak. This allows us to guarantee to our customers the opportunity to process large production batches quickly and in the time shared.
This new investment is only one of the many projects that SILGA S.p.A. is developing and achieving in order to confirm and consolidate its market leader position in Italy and in Europe for electroplating processes with the aim of support its customers by providing them high quality and cutting-edge products with proper delivery time for their production needs.
