SILGA at Hannover Messe 2013

HANNOVER MESSE 2013 has confirmed its key role in the industrial world. This year counted 6,550 exhibitors from 62 several countries and attracted a total of about 225,000 visitors, further consolidating its position as the 1st Exhibition in the world for industrial technology and as an internaional meeting place for economic policy. The exhibitors covered every imaginable aspect of the Industry. This year Russia has been the official partner country of the Fair, opened on April 7th with an official ceremony attended by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Russia show itself as a big economic force and an interesting global trading partner.

SurfaceTechnology, 2013, which took place during the event, has highlighted the entire value chain of the surface technology oriented to the applications. As a key segment, with application in all the industrial sectors, the field of surface technology fits perfectly with the concept of integrated industry, representing an important phase of the production process and often the final one.

SILGA exhibited all its galvanic treatments for various fields of application, treatments able to meet the highest standards required by the market, both aesthetic and technical, depending on the sector where the articles are used. Especially SILGA emphasized its decorative finishings with high aesthetic value intended for the fashion industry, from the high quality accessories to the consumer goods, such as coatings with thick gold, silver, thick palladium, black palladium, ruthenium, gun metal, brass, nickel finishings, antiallergenic finishings, antiqued and special finishings. At the same time, it was noted a strong interest in its decorative and technical treatments directed to the furniture, windows frame and lighting, such brass-plating, nickel-plating and the anodic oxidations. Significant importance was assumed by treatments that SILGA provides for the automotive industry, such as technical treatments of zinc-nickel alloy, colourless and black, tin-plating, and decorative treatments, such as glossy chrome finishings, semi-glossy and matt pearl chrome. Furthermore, Zinc-nickel treatments are finding more and more interest in the hydraulics, bolts and fasteners and mechanics sectors.

SILGA has attracted the attention of professionals operators working in the above mentioned fields, people from Germany, Italy, Austria, France, Turkey, Greece, Finland, Romania, Asia and South America, earning appreciations and interest in possible future collaborations.
